Football Sure Bets Are a Scam

One of the hottest current trends on Telegram at the moment is the Sure football bets scam. What these purport to do is to provide victims with a list of games they claim will go in their favor.

The hook is to get a victim to send an initial fee for games that the scammers have analyzed and believe will go a certain outcome.

They slowly raise the stakes for you and demand a small fee in return only after you have won. This, however, changes the moment you are sucked deeper into the scam. They move on to demand that you pay in advance and the figures are even bigger this time.

Once this comes to fruition, they demand for higher figures for subsequent bets.

When a bet goes wrong, they always have an explanation for why that happened.

The usual question to put to these scammers is if indeed they know the outcomes, why not invest their own money and make a killing?

They usually have crafty excuses around this question like, ‘they were banned from these platforms and can only earn by selling to others. This may sound logical but is never the case. It’s only a cover for their story.

It’s advisable you stay away from such scammers as they are likely to drag you into other similar scams once you are hooked. They also have a viable disclaimer in case they steal your money. Sports betting is highly regulated and betting on games using insider knowledge is illegal meaning that reporting to the authorities is a non-starter for you.
